Moving Day

Finally, just over a week after moving our household, I have moved all of my teaching supplies into our new classroom. Boxes, boxes, everywhere! Now I really have my work cut out getting everything organized and put away! Actually, it feels great to finally have everything here and I'm looking forward to settling in.

NECC 2008

I'm finishing up 4 fabulous days at NECC and so excited to start implementing what I'm learning in our classroom this upcoming year. I had the chance to make a lot of new connections and have been taking notes and bookmarking new links as fast as I can. Although I began my first serious endeavors with digital storytelling last year, I've learned new ways to integrate it even more powerfully this year. This blog is also a new addition for me; my purpose is to transform the typical teacher generated classroom webpage into something much more interactive that will be built by our classroom community. I'll be back to add more features and some of my favorite links as the school year approaches.
